Angels are the creation of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
He made them Spirits
(Hebrews 1:7).

Their single purpose is to worship and exalt JESUS and to carry-out His will on the earth.

The word “angels” comes from the Greek word “ang-el-os” which literally means a “messenger”.

Angels are God’s messengers. Their number is unknown. They are as countless as the sand on the seashore’. (Hebrews 12:22).

They show signs of joy and desire.
They are stronger and swifter than men. Glory to God!

ANGELIC ORDERS AND RANKING

There are different Angelic commands and ranking in heaven. The highest ranking Angels are THE CHERUBIM.
They are continually in the presence of God’s Holiness.

…And in the MIDST of the throne and AROUND the throne, were four living creatures(Or Cherubim) full of eyes in front and in back.
…And they do not rest DAY or NIGHT saying: “HOLY
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come”
(Revelations 4:6, 8).

The subsequent ranking Angels following the CHERUBIMS are THE SERAPHIM.
They are mentioned only once in the Bible in Isaiah 6:1-8.

THE SERAPHIM are heavenly attendants. They usually do not leave heaven. They have six wings- they use two wings to cover their faces, two wings to cover their feet, and the remaining two wings to take to the air

There are other Angelic commands: THE ARCHANGELS are ANGELIC RULERS OR CHIEFS.

THE WARRIOR ANGELS (THE HOST OF HEAVEN) are the HEAVENLY KNIGHT-HOOD or DEFENCE FORCE– they are trained for war.

THE GUARDIAN ANGELS are THE CUSTODIANS of human beings on earth. They escort, guard and defend us from all evil and they stay with us all through our life on earth. They always give God a personal account of our lives.
Every human being on earth has a Guardian Angel watching over his or her life.Glory to God!

Finally there are MINISTERING SPIRITS sent specifically to hang around the saints.
These are ANGELIC WAITERS… They serve the saints the blessings of God! Glory to God!
