Man is a spirit being made in the image and likeness of God who is also a Spirit. He has a soul and he lives in a physical body. (Gen 1:26; John 4:23,24; 1 Thess 5:23; Heb 4:12 )
Until we understand the human anatomy from God’s perspective…we will be unable to have a clear-cut comprehension of divine guidance.
Man’s anatomy is not limited to the structure of the human body. It includes other parts of man’s being…his spirit and soul. ( 1 Thess 5:23).
The three dimensions of man’s being…his spirit, soul and body always strive to guide or to exert influence on man. The voice of man’s body is feelings. The voice of man’s soul is reason, emotion and will. The voice of man’s spirit is his conscience. This is a still small voice that strive to guide man.
